WooHoo, Its arrived, thankfully in one piece, Cant wait to get crackin.

Here is a pic of some of the hardware that will be going into the Skywalker

 I look like abit of a Turnigy fanboy, I'm not just orderd all the gear of the same guy on eaby
Main points are

• Turnigy D3548/5 900KV Brushless Outrunner Motor (far too much power)
• Plush 60A Brushless Speed Controller
• Turnigy nano-tech 5000mah 4s Battery
• 4x Turnigy MG90S Metal Gear Servos (Shoulda bought 6)

I really need to start thinking about my Ground Station. Still on the hunt for some decent Antennas, probably a patch, dunno yet, also some kind of DVR to attach to a tripod, Still looking.

My First Job was to take off all the Skywalker Stickers. I know I wont be able to make anything near as good, However, I dont want my Skywalker to look like everyone else's. Probably go with the Black and Orange theme again.

On further inspection I have had a bit of a result. Mine is the V4 Skywalker so still has 2 Carbon spars, Result. Also you cant see in the pics but there is another spar in each of the wings, once this sucker is laminated up, it should be strong enough. (So long as the motor doesnt rip the wings off, ffs who needs 770watts for a Skywalker, live and learn)

So now I am just putting off cutting the ailerons and gluing up the spars. Time to go do something.
